Calcium + Company
Calcium + Company is a marketing agency where I work as Lead Developer, building web products and guiding a team across client projects.
Calcium + Company is a full-service marketing and advertising agency. As Lead Developer, I build and maintain client-facing websites, email campaigns, display ads, and web applications using a varied suite of web technologies. I serve as an advisor for technical decision-making, set development standards, and mentor and guide junior developers on best practices. I work closely with Art Directors, Project Managers, Account Executives, and clients, taking projects from concept to launch across a range of clients and specialties.
Zenkaikon
Zenkaikon is a nonprofit fandom convention where I volunteer as Convention Chair, overseeing all planning, operations, and staff for the annual event.
Zenkaikon is an annual non-profit fandom convention for fans of anime, manga, gaming, sci-fi, fantasy, and more. As Convention Chair, I lead a fully volunteer-driven organization through all stages of planning and execution, managing divisions, setting policy, and coordinating across departments to put on the event each year. Since taking the role, I’ve grown attendance by 76% (5,283 to 9,287), improved attendee experience, expanded and diversified programming, and built out the volunteer program with improved perks and a larger team. A lot of the work behind the scenes has gone into strengthening the organization itself, building the processes and policies that make everything run more smoothly year over year.
